Hello, my name is Shane Akin and welcome to my site.  I was born and raised in the Iowa Great Lakes area.  My passion for fishing started at a young age.  My father was a well-known fisherman throughout the midwest.  I spent every chance I could in the boat with him.  I caught my first muskie when I was only 7 years old.   I have been fishing every chance I get since that day.  I have over 40 years on the water, learning and perfecting my skills as an angler.  With my knowledge of the Iowa Great Lakes and surrounding lakes, I ensure you a comfortable and productive day on the water that you won't soon forget.  I love all methods of fishing, from live bait, jigging, trolling, casting and bobber fishing.  I love "talking fish", so I'm more than willing to answer questions you might have about fishing.  I love teaching the sport of fishing, and I learn something new every day on the water.  Give me a call or shoot me an email anytime, I'm always ready to fish.
